De Besturing offers two unique spaces for rent: Ctrl+Space for events and gatherings, and the Project Space for creating large-scale work. Scroll down to learn more about each space and how get in contact.

Ctrl+space

Ctrl+Space is De Besturing’s fully equipped, plug-and-play event space—designed for up to around 200 guests, both indoors and outdoors. It’s a platform for community-driven and experimental cultural programming: from performances, screenings, and radio shows to club nights, food tastings, talks, and exhibitions.

The space is co-programmed by a growing group of resident organisers, including Future Intel Radio, Film Faction, and Hot Love Gym & Sauna. Alongside recurring events, Ctrl+Space is also available to rent for both public and private events.

Catering
We offer the option to provide coffee, tea, drink, snacks, lunch or dinner for your event. Catering is done in collaboration with local partners and De Besturing’s community. For more info, email us at

Get Involved
At Ctrl+Space, we’re always looking for people with bold ideas and a drive to make them happen—whether it’s organising events, launching new initiatives, or testing out unconventional formats. As a resident organiser you take control of the space on a (bi-)weekly or (bi-)monthly basis to run your own public program. Got a dream to start a pop-up restaurant? Host a reading club? Run a yoga class, game night, or poetry evening—but no space to make it happen? Bring your plan, take initiative—we’ve got the space to make it happen.

 

 

PROJECT SPACE

The Project Space is available to external artists, makers, and cultural or educational initiatives. Whether you need space for a short-term build-up, a multi-day workshop, or an extended project, the space can be rented in its entirety or in sections. 

With a total surface of 407 m² and a ceiling height of 8m that is equipped with a well-functioning crane that can lift up to 5,000kg, it’s well-suited for large-scale works, installations, and hands-on experimentation.
